It all began when a savvy city girl (and future prosecution lawyer!) from San Diego traveled to a small town in Arkansas for a little adventure. I’m sure she never expected in a million years to meet the man of her dreams while “muddin” and getting eaten alive by jiggers but low and behold… that is exactly what happened. John won her over with his sweet southern charm and possibly his love for fast shinny cars. Despite the distance, Melissa & John’s love grew and not long after their first meeting… John proposed! Obviously, Melissa said “yes” and the epic wedding planning began. Melissa poured her heart into pretty much every aspect of her wedding and it shined in all the details. As a lover of all things pretty… I had a blast photographing all those little things from the “z” monograms hanging in the trees to the tiny messages in bottles that they gave away as favors.

Their wedding which began with a blind-folded groom “first look” on the roof of the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego and ended with a speedy send off in a red corvette from the Admiral Kidd oozed of style and beautiful moments. It’s hard to put it all into words so I think I’ll just let the photos tell the story of their day. Hope you enjoy!
