La Quinta Hideaway wedding. When the inquiry came in from Lisa and Bentley I had never heard of a La Quinta Hideaway before. I just assumed it was a bar at a La Quinta hotel. You know the 2.5 star hotel chain? I thought it a little odd that two people would be getting married inside a bar at a so-so hotel. But hey, I’m in the business of love not locations! Who am I to judge?
Well as it turned out La Quinta is actually a place a little bit east of Palm Springs. And the Hideaway is this amazing golf club that is literally behind walls and is very much hidden away from the rest of La Quinta. Not that La Quinta is big by any means. Oh and you heard right, I said amazing golf club. It’s not that I have anything against golf clubs, I grew up on courses learning from my grandfather. He loved golf. Well at least he said he did, he spent about as much time cursing and throwing his irons around in frustration. Anyhow a lot of the weddings we do at golf clubs our clients invariably tell us to try and not make it look like a golf course. That wasn’t a big deal with the Hideaway. It sort of has this elegant Spanish castle in the middle of a desert oasis paradise thing going on. Definitely a great place for a wedding!
In addition to a great couple and a lively group, we had near perfect outdoor weather the entire day and evening. We were totally expecting to get roasted alive. It was warm, but comfortable. An all around beautiful day with awesome people!

These are beautiful!
Stunning work! You did an awesome job of capturing the beauty, emotions and fun of their wedding day. Also, I might be a little bit in love with the bride’s shoes! =)
