I met the two above ladies at a Portland Crave event a few months ago. I was running on about 10% of my normal Josh energy due to having not slept on account of a crazy travel schedule coming back from shooting in Chicago. We were at the event with our Fauxtobooth, and were put next to these two jewelry designers- Genna Hall from DeLuxe Delovely (left), and Kimberly Kogane of Fresh Tangerine. I don’t remember much from the evening except that these particular jewelry designers were sweet and charming, and the delicate intricacies of their jewelry made me wonder how girls this tall could make things that small. In the following days and weeks after Facebooking one another, I thought of including the girls and their jewels for an upcoming inspiration shoot we are working on. We had them over to the studio and soon after it seemed apparent that in addition to wanting to work with them in the future, they were going to be our friends too. The girls are launching their new collection, working on new websites, new branding, and essentially doing things that are distant concepts for most people in their early stages of business. We spent a long rainy day in the studio shooting photos for the upcoming launch, and here are some of my favorites!
