We’re thrilled to be posting Heather and Nick’s St. Charles wedding finally! They are amazing people and have become fast friends. Their wedding was a blast and we absolutely loved documenting their monumental occasion and getting to know their loving families too!
It’s obvious from the photos that Heather and Nick are one good-looking couple but they are just as genuinely beautiful on the inside too. Lucky to have found each other in high school, these two beat the odds and remained together despite attending different colleges and living in different cities for much of their relationship. They are still head-over-heals in love and Heather admits to still getting butterflies every time Nick kisses her (which makes the girly-girl in me squeal!). I know these guys are in it for the long haul and we’re excited to watch their family grow in the future.
Here are some of our favorites from their wedding. Hope you enjoy!

We start with our “sexy little bride” getting her make-up applied and hair styled at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church.
I love Heather’s mermaid style champagne colored wedding gown from Wolsfelt Bridal. It was so unique. The DIY bridal bouquets turned out pretty amazing too.
The emotions were running pretty high for the bride and groom as they got ready in different locations. We love the early anticipation of a wedding day!
The flower girls looked like mini princesses and loved their butterfly wings.
Baker Memorial United Methodist Church is stunning and the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony, located in the heart of downtown St Charles.
The maid of honor and mother of the bride help Heather into her beautiful champagne colored mermaid style wedding dress in a small chapel inside of Baker Memorial United Methodist Church.
These bridal portraits of Heather in Baker Memorial United Methodist Church are some of our favorites from the year. She is breathtaking!
The moments before the ceremony where the father of the bride sees Heather for the first time were really emotional and even inspired a few tears. Heather and her father are very close.
Happy to be married after nearly a decade as a couple!
Love the ruby red accents of the bridesmaid’s dresses and the unique DIY bouquets with red, pink, and white roses with a few white dahlias, sprigs of heather, sweat pea and berries in the mix.
Bride and Groom portraits around downtown St Charles and its riverfront.
Every table was decorated a little different with lots of vintage inspired items like bronze lanterns and antique pieces along with organic flower arrangements at their St Charles Country Club wedding reception.
Amazing toasts from their family and life-long friends made for more great emotion.
Bride and Groom’s first dance as a married couple at their St. Charles Country Club Reception.
And they danced the night away…
