The Park Aviara Hyatt in Carlsbad is an amazing wedding venue. Ever since I first visited the hotel last summer, I have been dying to shoot a wedding there. Having a great wedding venue just makes our jobs so much easier, we can’t help getting inspired with so much to work with. At every corner there is a rad backdrop just begging for a stylish bride & groom to pose in front of for our cameras. So when Melissa reached out to us to be her photographers we jumped at the opportunity. Melissa & Jon had the tall task of planning their entire wedding from half way around the country where they lived in Oklahoma. It’s always a big honor when any bride & groom trust us with the task of documenting their special day but even more so when they choose us with out even meeting in person before the wedding. Luckily we clicked and they made our jobs that much easier when they were so cool & eager to take some creative portraits with us.
Their day was filled with warm summer breezes and lots of love… not to mention killer wedding vendors who made the day run smoothly. We had the pleasure of working with Jillian Ziska, wedding planner extraordinaire, for the first time and I’m here to proclaim that she is worth every penny and more. Jillian was everywhere and put out so many “would-be” fires through out the day. I was amazed by her style & grace. We definitely hope we get to work with her more in the future!
Without further ado… the photos of Melissa & Jon’s wedding at the Hyatt Park Aviara in Carlsbad, CA. Hope you enjoy!
