Humaira and Vikas’ wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Boston like most Indian weddings was a multi day celebration. Although the event actually began a day before we started our coverage we still managed to pack 22 hours of photography into 2 days. If I had to choose one word to describe the experience, “epic” would be the only choice. In fact as amazing as our first day with them was, it was just a warm up for the finale. I am purposefully being a little conservative in the length of this first blog post because what we have to come is going to be even more spectacular if I do say so myself. When you consider how much time, effort, and love goes into planning a regular single day wedding - I’m in complete awe of anyone who can pull off a multi day event. Humaira and Vikas, their friends, their family, and the amazing vendors they pulled together were incredible. Usually when we get finished with a 10 hour wedding we’re pretty wiped out, but I remember as we got back to our hotel room that first night feeling energized and thinking- “holy crap this is just the beginning!” So here is a little taste of the friendship, family, color, and emotion that we were privileged enough to document. Stay tuned!
