Most of the time the toughest part of an engagement session is simply figuring out where you want to do it. Melissa and I are always on the look out for new spots to offer our clients. We had recently been on a scouting trip to UCSD, searching out alternatives to places like the Salk Institute who have pretty strict policies against photography. UCSD has some amazing architecture. Lots of interesting lines and concrete. I’m super big on concrete. Anyhow Marisa and Steven were pretty open to suggestions so when I mentioned UCSD it turned out Steven had gone there so it made perfect sense.
