Torrey Pines is Melissa’s favorite place in San Diego. If we’re talking strictly ocean views for me it’s a tie between the Cabrillo National Monument and Torrey Pines. Torrey Pines does have the advantage over Cabrillo in size and hiking trails. We try and go on a hike there once or twice a month. Truth be told it’s not exactly a vigorous hike if you’re on foot… I mean once you’re up the hill it’s a done deal. Exercise is essentially over and for the rest of the time it’s just an amazing view. Charissa and Greg had only been there once prior - that is when they got engaged. So it was a real treat to get to show them some of the trails we’re familiar with that they weren’t. The place is magic.
