It’s probably about time we posted an engagement session, and one of our first this year was taken with Heather & Nick in LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles, IL. We got lucky with the weather that day (previously it had been snowing), and while it was a bit cold and windy Nick and especially Heather braved the temperatures like natural born models. These two were a blast to photograph, and despite claiming to be nervous seemed completely at ease. Melissa and I really enjoyed this location, and we got some very nice light through the bare trees. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding later this year!
