Erica & Jeremy took the big West Loop walk with me back in late fall of last year for their engagement session in Chicago. I’m pretty spontaneous as a photographer, and a lot of the time instead of planning out each and every location I like to pick a starting point and just take a walk and see what’s out there. Chicago is a great city for this approach as there are no shortage of interesting backgrounds to photograph our couples, especially the very expressive graffiti. Erica & Jeremy are a lot of fun to take a late afternoon stroll with, and were really at ease in front of my camera. This was definitely one of my favorite sessions of 2009, and we’re really looking forward to shooting their wedding in October.
