North Avenue Beach and Chicago’s West Loop are two of my favorite Chicago engagement session locations. The weather had been looking pretty iffy for Brittany and Kurt that day, but we lucked out and got a let up from the rain long enough to get their session in. One nice thing about shooting right after a rain storm is all of the puddles left over make for interesting reflecting pools. We started off at North Avenue Beach, which is my favorite view of the Chicago skyline. A lot of people gravitate more towards the museum campus, but I think the view here is more compelling. Brittany and Kurt were game for something a little more offbeat, so we went to an awesome spot in the West Loop for some urban fun.
