And we’re back… with Angie & Mike’s stunningly elegant wedding at St. Daniels the Prophet & Ruffled Feathers Golf Club held just outside Chicago in Lemont, IL.
The Continuum team took a small hiatus for the holidays to travel to Los Angeles & San Diego for some much needed R&R after completing another fabulous year photographing weddings in Portland, Seattle, Chicago and a few other destinations here and there around the globe. We wrapped our last wedding of 2010 over Thanksgiving Day weekend then came back to the Pacific Northwest for a whirlwind month of huge changes for our company. I’m not sure we’re ready to let the cat out of the bag as to what it is we’ve been up to just yet so you’ll have to check back often to see our updates. However, 2011 is going to be HUGE and we are so excited to be entering our most successful year yet. We have to thank all our past, present, and future clients as well as our friends & family for all your love & support! We feel blessed everyday to be able to spend our lives doing what we love and it wouldn’t be possible with out you all. Thank you!
We start out Angie & Mike’s wedding with our lovely bride getting her hair & make up done in her childhood home outside Chicago.
Angie’s bridesmaids we’re all beauties and their floor length pale pink dresses looked so elegant on them.
Angie’s mom helped her daughter, the bride, zip up her classic satin wedding dress. I love the black & white photos of the bride getting ready, the bridal prep is always my favorite part of the day.
The bridal bouquet was stunning with lots of pale pink & white roses & peonies. The bridesmaids’ bouquets had a little extra POP with the added hot pink roses.

The groom & groomsmen wore single rose boutonnieres. Very classic. This whole wedding had an understated elegance of style & decor.

Their wedding reception decor featured lots of elegant details including fragrant centerpieces oozing with pink & white roses, satin mauve chair linens, personalized matchbook wedding favors, and a hand painted wooden bride & groom cake topper which Josh used for his clever wedding ring photo.
I was blown away by the energy on the dance floor for this wedding. Angie & Mike know how to throw a rockin’ party and their guests we’re an absolute blast to photograph. The reception dancing included dance-offs, the worm, and the sprinkler. So much fun!!
Congratulations Angie & Mike! It seems like forever since we first met and maybe longer since your wedding this summer but all the memories of the emotions and good times we felt being there came right back from looking at your wedding photographs. We wish you nothing but love & happiness for your future. Thank you letting us be part of your day, it was truely and honor to share it with you and your fabulous family & friends!
