We were honored to be part of Erika & Dave’s wedding at Volo Restaurant & Wine Bar this fall. We were two of the twenty-four wedding guests invited which made it the most intimate wedding we’ve ever photographed. Their wedding had a warm and loving vibe and it was refreshing to also connect with all their guests.
Josh started the day with Erika at the salon and I met up with Dave and his bestman at the downtown Hilton. We rallied at their home in Roscoe Village for a “first look” in their backyard. From there we hopped into a limo and hit some of Chicago’s most picturesque locations. It was a fun and laid back afternoon and we all laughed a lot! Here are some of our favorites before we made it to Volo.

This is about when Dave realizes he forgot his white dress shirt. Luckily, his bestman has one for him to borrow.

Natalie and Dave held their wedding reception at Maggiano’s downtown banquet hall on Clark & Grand. The space was classic and sophisticated and the food was delicious! Like the rest of the wedding, the reception was a pretty much a blast and all their guests looked like they were having an amazing time.
