Twilight rural, and rural industrial night exposures in Dundee, Oregon. On this particular night, the shoot probably could have better been titled 100 Twilights, as most of the photos we took were before the sun went down. Mark and I had headed south to meet our friend Kevin in Dundee, which is a rural area about an hour outside of Portland. We learned a few things that day. First, the coolest things to potentially photograph are on private property or in an area where you can’t easily pull over. Second, people in Dundee are obsessed with stopping and asking you if you need an ambulance. And third, the police once they have established you are not trying to start an Al Qaeda terror cell in rural Oregon, and pretty interested in photography in general.
