If there are any awards for engagement session patience, Brianna ought to get one. I’m not sure how many times Steven’s deployment got pushed back, but with him finally home we had a green light on scheduling their session. It was nice to get to finally meet him, and we always feel a little bad for our guys who are out of the state (or overseas) who don’t get to be part of the initial booking process. Brianna already had the joy of seeing us in our hiking clothes on a Torrey Pines excursion, complete with post burrito Roberto’s dining afterwards. They say once you’ve seen your photographers stuff their faces full of taco shop food that you are at a distinct advantage when it comes to posing for portraits. Steven on the other hand meets us and immediately just gets the camera in the face. I’d have to say he was a pretty good sport about it. Of course engagement sessions aren’t really that hard… dress up a little, hug, makeout… Maybe not the true definition of strenuous, but it’s definitely enough to work up an appetite. I’m not going to lie and say we didn’t visit at least one taco shop afterwards.
