Professor, what’s another word for pirate treasure? Yep. It’s booty. Christin and Russ had a non-pirate themed wedding on the Bahia Resort Hotel’s William D. Evans Sternwheeler paddle boat – the bridal party brought the booty. In fact it all started off like a normal wedding, and I knew we were going to have fun – I mean Christin and Russ like to smile and have a good time. Maybe I should have had an inkling that it was going to be a memorable day when the bridesmaids starting doing shots of 5 Hour Energy before the ceremony. Christin and her ladies sure looked
bootiful beautiful that day. Like most weddings emotions ran high at times – and then the bridal party would do something crazy and laughter ensued. It was an amazing blend of love and hilarity. Their dedication to each other (illustrated deeply by Russ missing the Arizona game to actually get married that day), the personalities of their friends and family, gorgeous San Diego weather, and the fact that they were on a boat made this wedding one that’s going to be a tough one to beat for 2013. And it’s not actually a competition people – but on the off chance that some of our more competitive couples are reading this – they had bagpipes. Bagpipes on a boat. And they have nice butts.
