One of the biggest ways I can tell if I’m going to get a long with someone is how willing they are to consume Mexican food in my company. You can absolutely forge a bond with people over breakfast burritos, which is exactly how we met these two for the first time to go over details of their Coronado Community Center wedding. Obviously any wedding photographer will tell you that referrals are the absolute best clients – creating art for your friends is an even more rewarding experience than normal. Tracing those referral connections isn’t always easy though. I am going to break it down for you: Me – my friend Justin – my friend Justin’s brother Nick (also my friend) – my friend Justin’s brother Nick’s friend Zeke (also a new friend of ours) – my friend Justin’s brother Nick’s friend Zeke’s friend Ashley. Boom the circle got completed. If that didn’t make any sense to you that’s okay I sort of did that on purpose. The important part is that we love the opportunity to make friends with friends of friends and document important events in the lives of new friends (of older friends?). And these friends (Ashley & Mike) are pretty awesome people. And their wedding was an absolute blast. Of course that ought to be evident in the photos, so go ahead… take a look!
PS – I am not letting Melissa proof-read this.
