Not so long ago my favorite guy from Australia, Marc Rotse, suggested we find a willing model to do a little portrait shoot for fun and practice. Immediately I thought of Monica, a friend of Johanna’s that I had met a couple of months ago. I had seen some really beautiful photos of Monica, and knew I wanted to shoot with her. I didn’t exactly have a concept in mind, but we brainstormed on a few visuals, Marc came up with Sauvie Island for the location, and somehow a parasol got thrown in. Voilà art was made. Monica was a great sport, as our little one on one photoshoot morphed into a multi photographer, multi-fusion video artist extravaganza. Marc and his guys shot video, and Melissa, BJ and myself took stills. It might be awhile before we see the video results, but I’m looking forward to it. These are some of my personal favorites I captured from the day!
