Lately we’ve been pretty caught up in shooting weddings and engagement sessions. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here that didn’t fall under that category, but I have had a series from a photoshoot I did with a treasured friend of mine that I’ve put on the backburner for too long. Three months ago I shot a portrait session at Mission Trails Regional Park with my friend Rachel as the subject. Rachel and I go way back. We’ve known each other much longer than we’ve not known each other, and aside from family members there aren’t many people in my life I can say that about. If you’re not a model and used to being photographed it can be a courageous move to be the center of attention for a couple of hours and let me do my thing. Rachel has always been one of the most courageous people I’ve known. One of the best things for us in moving back here has been being in close proximity to her, and essentially being able to enjoy her company on a more consistent basis. So this blog post is dedicated to her. Thank you for always being such a huge source of love and understanding in my life.
